Pastor Gaines, Not sure if this is the right channel to contact you with but I have an amazing story to tell you....My name is Michael McPeak,I'm a christian and have attended Bellevue years ago with girlfriend when Pastor Rodgers was present but really never became actively involved with Bellevue...we are talking about 10-12 years ago...I would attend on holidays for services but never consistent...Well starting back in early fall of 2009 I found myself in a situation of extreme lonliness even though I have plenty of friends and family surrounding me...I just couldn't get over it..Well earlier in the summer at my gym a complete stranger walked up to me in the locker room and just started small talk and that person is Scott Hardin a member of Bellevue. Since that day we have become awsome friends, well Scott and I have had different discussions about God ,including questions about how to serve him better. Well to be completely honest I had not been serving God much lately until Scott invited me to Bellevue about 6 weeks ago....there are not words to express this consumption of CHRIST I have in my heart now and ..Its like an energy inside me that I have never experienced before, energy so powerful I think my chest is going to explode....I'm on fire with the holy spirit in my heart and its amazing....I'm so excited when I think about it tears of joy trickle for my eyes ...I have never been so excited in my life about GOD and the tears of happyness are constant ...Whats crazy about all of this is that my so called normal personality is the complete opposite of what has happened in the last six weeks......I'm so happy , so excited about life, I cant wait to go to church on Sundays and the Truth project on Wednesday nights....You said in the service Sunday that when you have Christ in your heart its so powerful and I really think GOD used Scott Hardin to light me on fire with the joy of the holy spirit.....I have goosebumps just talking and writing this email right now....I'm going to join Bellevue Baptist Church after 18 years of just attending off and on ...I mean has God waited this long for a reason......This is amazing, GOD, Bellevue, you Pastor Gaines.....I'm literally shaking in excitement as I talk about this to you....I'm a 34 year old single guy "tuff guy attitude before " some people think I flipped my mind but I cant explain it ....there is more to my past but I'm living for GOD and on fire about it.....Scott Hardin my friend felt like he did not know enough about the bible to get out and reach to individuals but when he reached out to me in casual conversation he will never know the impact it had on my life and relationship with God..Words cannot explain it and I want Scott to know he basically has changed my life more than any individual I have ever came in contact with in my 34 years of life.....you Pastor Gaines have preached with such passion, passion and strength that has made this the wonderful event in my life...I come to your Sunday Service at 11:11 with my buddy Scott Hardin and his family, who have no idea Im writing this but I just cant tell you how he has changed my life, your sermons and GOD...It's funny because Scott is about 7 years younger than me and we have had conversation about people we know that dont have a relationship with GOD which we are going to change that...I know Scott has no clue of what our first little talk about relationships with GOD would change my life.....I love him for steering me and giving me the best gift of all "Christ in my Heart"...Pastor Gaines I hope I get to meet you personally and shake you hand this Sunday at the 11:11 service...I just want the world to know ..I feel like driving down the road shouting out the window ....the happines Im experiencing but could get arrested haha ....Thanks for everything ...this is a life changing experience and people close to me know it is a complete turn AROUND !! Its awsome
