Fall Blessings at Bellevue Baptist Church
Dear Bellevue Family,

Bellevue Baptist Church
God is doing so much in the life of our church this fall. I’m excited about our new Worship Service schedule that begins September 13 because it represents new opportunities for ministry. Our 9:30 Worship Service will continue to be led by our choir and orchestra with a blend of favorite hymns and new worship songs.
The new 11:11 Worship Service will feature a casual atmosphere, more contemporary music, and will be led by a worship band. I really believe that 11:11 will be inviting to new families and unchurched people in the community. But no matter the style of the service, we will always offer relevant, Bible-based preaching that will challenge believers and introduce the lost to Christ.
This fall we will also begin our satellite campus in Arlington. The Arlington area is one of the fastest growing communities in our county, and the satellite campus will allow us to reach this quickly expanding population for Christ. Phil Newberry will be heading up the new campus along with Gregg Hauss. These two men have served faithfully at Bellevue for many years, and I have the utmost confidence that they will continue to follow God’s will and build a strong ministry to the people of Arlington. I am also pleased to announce that Jason Pyron will be leading our Student Ministry at Bellevue. Jason is a godly man with a heart for discipling students. Please pray for him as he assumes his new ministry responsibilities.
There are many more opportunities coming up for each member of your family to grow and reach out. Our next Bellevue Loves Memphis workday will take place October 24. Plan to bring your family and help with a practical service project that will show the love of Christ to our community.
New semesters of DiscipleLife, Care Groups, Women’s Ministry, Evangelism Explosion, Music Arts for Children, and Student Worship will also begin this month. I challenge each member of your family to get involved and begin growing in the Lord. Read about these opportunities in this issue of
Messenger, or visit www.bellevue.org for more information about how you can be a part of fall at Bellevue.
The Lord is blessing our church and our ministry. Let’s use His blessings to grow closer to Him and bring the Gospel to others. I love my church family, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Pastor.
